Data processing policy
Effective 27 October 2026
This policy is the information notice under Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It explains what nodpage.com receives about you, why, where and how long it is stored, and how to exercise your rights.
1. Scope
This policy covers the nodpage.com website and its waiting-list form. The nodpage workspace will have its own policy when it opens. Data that Meetings receives from connected calendars (Google, Yandex, Microsoft and others) is covered on the separate page “Meetings: calendar data”.
2. Data controller
The controller is a natural person, the creator of nodpage: Ambartsum Amayakyan. For any question about this document or your data, email amik@amik.am. A postal address for written requests will be provided in reply.
3. Data processed
The information you enter in the form: email address, Telegram username or phone number (at least one of the two contact methods), and an optional line about your work. We also record the date and time, page language, referring page if the browser supplies it, browser string and a hash of your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored; the hash prevents hundreds of contacts being submitted from one address in a minute.
Visit statistics are collected by Chapp, a counter run by the site owner on the amik.am server hosted by RU-CENTER (JSC “RSIC”) in Russia. It records the page address, referral source, device type and browser. It sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses: to count unique visits within one day, the IP address and browser string are combined into a hash with a salt that changes daily, so returning visitors are not recognised. Statistics are not shared with third parties. The site has no advertising pixels or third-party counters.
If you choose a language, the site saves it in an np_lang preference cookie for one year. This cookie is separate from visit statistics.
4. Purpose
The purpose is to contact you when nodpage early access opens, and use your work description to decide whom to invite first. The data is not used for mailing lists, advertising or promotion. No decisions with legal consequences for you are made through automated processing.
5. Legal basis
For the waiting list: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it by ticking the form’s checkbox; without it, the entry is not accepted. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing amik@amik.am; the entry will be deleted within ten days. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. For visit statistics and the language cookie: legitimate interest in running and improving the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Storage, recipients and transfers
Entries are kept in a database on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH in Falkenstein, Germany, outside the public part of the site. Hetzner acts as the hosting provider. Entries are not shared or sold. The creator receives a Telegram notification for each new entry, containing the email, Telegram contact and work description, with no other information. Telegram may deliver this message through servers outside the EU; by submitting the form you consent to this transfer (Article 49(1)(a) GDPR). Visit statistics are processed in Russia (section 3), a country without an EU adequacy decision.
7. Retention
Until early access opens and for twelve months afterwards, or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first. Entries are then deleted.
8. Your rights
Under Articles 15–22 GDPR you can ask what is recorded about you, receive a copy, have it corrected, deleted or restricted, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent. Email amik@amik.am from the address you submitted; you will receive a reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement took place.
9. Changes
New versions are published on this page with their effective date. Earlier entries remain subject to the version you agreed to until you consent to a new one.
